Please join Houma Christian School in support of the Billiot family- a Warrior family who recently had a devastating fire at their home. We are so grateful for God's protection and want to help as they recover. On Feb. 13 we will have a jambalaya plate lunch fundraiser at HCS. Dinners will be $12, and delivery is available for 10 orders or more. Please click the attached link to order. Congratulations! After being presented with the Smart/Maher VFW National Citizenship Education Teacher Award at the local level, Ms. Wendy Delgado also won this award at the district level. At a banquet in Alexandria this week, she was honored with third place in the Junior High Teacher of the Year state competition! Ms. Delgado is an amazing teacher, and we are very proud of all of her accomplishments.
Starting on February 3rd, we will have a book fair for students in PreK-8th Grade. Students will have the opportunity to shop during their library, PE, or study hall times throughout the school day. Students have already received a catalog and a Wishlist to note the items they would like to purchase. We are looking forward to a great week!

At a banquet this week, she was honored as the first place district winner for high school teachers. HCS is so proud of Ms. Tamara and thankful she is part of our Warrior Family!

Today, our 4th-8th graders had the privilege of hearing from a special guest who portrays Abraham Lincoln! He shared fascinating stories about his life and legacy as our 16th President. To top it off, he made a surprise visit to our 2nd-grade class, delighting students with a bit of history brought to life!

Mrs. Delgado’s 8A Earth Science class explored a volcano using VR headsets.
Congratulations to our Student of the Month recipients! These outstanding students were chosen for their remarkable quality of "Effort." We are incredibly proud of every one of you!
In Mrs. Delgado's 8B physical science class, the students began to study how STEM was such an important part of WWII. They constructed a closed-circuit propeller to learn about the engineering design of the Higgins boat, the ballpoint pen, and B-17s such as “My Gal Sal.”
Once upon a time in the enchanted halls of Houma Christian, students transformed into beloved characters for Sadie Hawkins. From Shrek to Little Red Riding Hood, Peter Pan to Belle, the scene was a delightful blend of fantasy and school spirit. The junior class, with a wave of their wands, crowned their very own Prince Koby Singleton and Princess Jersi LeBoeuf. In a grand ceremony, the senior class celebrated their Houma Christian Spirit King James Douglas Bohman and Queen Jaycee Charlet. It was a joyful night, where fairy tales came to life and our school spirit shone brighter than ever!
