Today, during elementary lunch, students enjoyed participating in a relay race themed around “Don’t Sing the Blues…Be Happy and Drug Free!” Congratulations to the winners of race!

HCS Elementary will host a special Veterans Day program on November 11th at 9:00 AM

The deadline to register for the Warriorettes' annual mini dance camp has been extended to tomorrow, October 30th! If you're still uncertain about attending, you can sign up until the day of the camp, although a shirt may not be guaranteed.

• Saturday, November 16: Mini dancers will showcase their skills at the HCS Family Fun Day Basketball Tournament.

Attention students in grades 7 through 12: Bowling tryouts for both girls and boys will be held on November 7th at 3:00 PM at Creole Lanes. On Saturday at the Pumpkin Patch, our girls' devotion students volunteered for the "Art in the Patch" event. We would like to thank everyone who contributed to raising funds for Hope Restored.
Houma Christian School will be collecting Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes. To pack a box, please refer to the instructions online or in the pamphlet that was sent home today in Warrior folders. You can pay the shipping for Operation Christmas Child online to track your box. For any questions, feel free to email Mrs. Karley at karley_seay@houmachristianschool.com. Students can earn up to 2 service hours in high school Bible classes; one hour is awarded for each box. Box collection will begin on Monday of next week and will conclude on November 6th. Join HCS Missions to spread the Gospel of Jesus through shoeboxes!

Mrs. Karley's 8B class had a great time painting Christmas ornaments today during Bible! They'll be giving these ornaments out later for a Christmas Outreach project.
The Junior High SGA is hosting a Junior High Fall Bash for 7th & 8th graders! Get ready for an exciting evening filled with sand volleyball, bring along your favorite sweet or sour candy, and wear your class color for this unforgettable event! Tickets can be purchased Monday, October 28th - November 13th. Tickets purchased during this time will be entered for a chance at a door prize. We hope to see you there!
Mrs. Sheryl Landry and Mrs. Wendy Delgado attended the LATM conference in Baton Rouge this week. Mrs. Delgado was a lead STEM presenter as a WWII Educational ambassador she presented a STEM activity called “The Assembly Line Challenge.”
This past weekend, we had the pleasure of hosting our third annual Princess for a Knight Dance, and it was truly a memorable experience for everyone involved. Joy and laughter filled the air as father figures and daughters created cherished memories together.
