We are super proud to announce that Senior Emma Bourg signed her commitment letter today to continue her athletic career in cross country and track at the University of New Orleans. We can not wait to see what the future holds for Emma! Congratulations!

This Tuesday, (tomorrow) January 10th, is Class Picture Day. All students will be required to wear their traditional HCS uniform on Tuesday.
Our 1st Princess for a Knight was a HUGE success! Below are the photos from the event. Students who attended will also receive a 4x7 by the end of the week.

This was a great start to our indoor track season! The meet this weekend had over 100 teams from surrounding states including Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Texas, and Florida.

It’s not too late to attend our first annual Princess for a Knight event! You can pay at the door this evening. The event is in the HCS gym from 6:30-8pm and is open to all girls in PK-6th grade and their male father figures. Check out the silent auction and basket sweepstakes available to all who are attending!

Reminder! Run2Him4Him is a Bible-based running program for BOYS in 4th-6th grade that uses the Word of God to gain mental and physical strength. The program will run for eight weeks, and we will celebrate by running the Warrior Run on March 11th.
We meet every Tuesday and Thursday right after school until 4:15.

THURSDAY CHRISTMAS PRODUCTION: Students in 1st-6th grade can wear blue jeans and a true red, green, or white shirt, or a combination of those colors. Anywhere from a solid T-shirt to dressy or plaid, stripes, dots, and stars on shirts in red, white, or green. No pictures, no words; except the HCS missions T-shirt, that may be worn. Students may wear any shoes but no high heels.
1st-5th grade students must arrive at Living Word Church at 9:30 am, and the 6th-grade students must be there at 9:15 am
Parents: High School students (7th-12th) will be dismissed after exams today at the pre-set time, 10:30am.
Due to the predicted severe weather, elementary students (Pk-6th) will be dismissed at 11:15am (after having lunch).
If an elementary student chooses to stay home today, it will be considered an excused absence. High School students who are scheduled for exams must attend as normal.

2nd grade had “Career Day” today! They researched their career choice, made a poster, and wrote a paper. Everyone did a fantastic job presenting their dream job!
