In sixth grade, students learn to connect text in unique ways, such as through the art of whittling. In the novel, the main character lives alone in the woods, adding to the sense of solitude and self-reliance.

A BIG THANK YOU FROM HCS MISSIONS!!!!! Thank you for your heart of giving. We are sending over 200 boxes to Operation Christmas Child and over 150 boxes to Rus Rus. That's over 350 children who will receive a gift and will get the chance to hear the Gospel. Please continue to pray for the child who will receive your box. Thank you so much!!!

Thank you!!! All students who purchased a Christmas shirt from HCS Missions/Outreach will be allowed to dress down this Wednesday in jeans and their Christmas shirt. All regular dress down rules apply. All students who purchased a Christmas sweatshirt can now wear it with their uniforms until Christmas break. Thanks for supporting HCS Missions/Outreach.

Our 10th grade classes attended Sudden Impact this week. They learned about the importance of making healthy choices and to never drive under the influence. We sincerely appreciate Terrebonne General and Troop C for making this course available to our students.
Mrs. Delgado's science students got creative and crafted gumdrop models to represent ionic and covalent bonds.
